Bill Christophersen has published six collections of poetry, the most recent of which is Its Shadow Rakes the Grass (Kelsay Books, 2023). His study of J.F. Cooper’s Leatherstocking Tales, Resurrecting Leather-Stocking: Pathfinding in Jacksonian America, was released by U. of S. Carolina Press in 2019. He lives in New York and plays traditional fiddle.
