Hanging Loose Press is collaborating with Girls Write Now for a reading at the NYC Poetry Festival on Governors Island! GWN has been breaking down the barriers of gender, race, age and poverty to mentor the next generation of writers and leaders. HLP is very excited to be working with them this year.
GWN poets Mia Lindenburg, Nyilah Bree Thomas and Tara Logo will be joining HLP poets Hannah Bahn and Jordan E. Franklin on the White Horse stage @2PM.

Join Hanging Loose Poets, Joan Larkin, Caroline Hagood, and Jiwon Choi for an unabashedly frank reading on what it means to be poets writing for the long haul.
These poets understand that the craft of writing poetry, and writing in general, can only be fully honed by engaging in its longevity. Poets will read past and new work.
