In 2026, for the first time in Hanging Loose Press’s 60 year history, we will welcome your poems, short stories and flash fiction via email.
One of the few presses who still asks for paper submissions, HLP proudly remains behind the times on this score, but for the months of January and June, we’ll be open for email submissions.

up to 10 pages of prose
up to 1000 words flash fiction
International poets and writers welcome; we offer nominal payment for accepted work.
