Rosalind Brackenbury

Rosalind Brackenbury is English and has lived for thirty years in Key West, with her American husband, Allen Meece. She is the author of many acclaimed novels, including “Without Her,” “Becoming George Sand,” and “The Third Swimmer,” which won the 2016 Indie Silver Award for fiction. Her poetry has been published by Taxus Press in the UK and Hanging Loose in the U.S. Her latest novel, “Bone Whispers,” was published in February 2024. She has a mystery novel and a new collection of poetry in the works. She was Key West’s second Poet Laureate, and Writing Fellow at the College of William and Mary in 2008 and 2012.
