Tankred Dorst

Tankred Dorst was born in 1925.  One of Germany’s most honored writers, he is a playwright, storyteller, director, and teacher.  He and his partner, in writing and life, Ursula Ehler, live and work in Munich. This Beautiful Place, translated by Anne Posten won the Loose Translation Award.
